Luuk moved to Nairobi, Kenya in 2012 to setup the Akvo East Africa Hub. He is responsible for all of Akvo’s activities in East and Southern Africa, and steers the expansion of our work and team in the region which, as of 2016, consists of eight people. He is also a lead producer and reporter for WaterCube.tv and Akvo.tv, our video channels profiling people and issues in the development aid sector. Luuk graduated in 2007 with an MA in International Development Studies from the University of Utrecht.
