Charlotte is a project manager and is responsible for managing a range of existing partnerships and programmes, as well as engaging with new partners. In addition, she helps partners implement and facilitate training workshops on the use of Akvo tools. At the beginning of 2018, Charlotte moved from Amsterdam to Bali to strengthen the South East Asia and Pacific team.

Charlotte has an MSc in Sustainable Tourism and Environment from Wageningen University. Her master’s thesis for WWF Indonesia focused on participatory tourism development in the Wakatobi Marine National Park in Sulawesi, where she spent several months doing fieldwork. She also has a BA in Facility Management from Diedenoort University. Before moving into the international development sector, Charlotte worked in a variety of facilities management and communications roles in Australia and the Netherlands. Satya is responsible for conducting field training and providing data analysis and visualisation support to Akvo’s partners in SEAP. Prior to joining Akvo, he worked as a data analyst for UNICEF Indonesia. He began his career working in project support at the United Nations Pulse Lab Jakarta.

Satya is a data enthusiast who believes that analysing data can contribute to better public policy. In addition to his role at Akvo, he also leads the R&D division of Data Science Indonesia, an independent community created to educate, socialise and implement data science approaches in Indonesia. Stefan is the manager of Akvo’s Southeast Asia and Pacific (SEAP) hub. Based in Australia, he supports the management of Akvo’s programmes in the region, overseeing existing partnerships and facilitating our engagement with new partners and sectors. He is also responsible for coordinating with Amsterdam and connecting Akvo’s SEAP operations with other hubs around the world.

Stefan first joined Akvo in 2011 and took up a full-time role in 2014, helping to establish our hub in SE Asia and the Pacific. Prior to this, Stefan worked across government, academia and the NGO sector in environmental policy, sustainability, public health and impact assessment.

Stefan holds a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University in Canberra and has completed the Fenner School of Environment & Society Honours Program in Human Ecology. He has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom and as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development in Cambodia.

Aulia is responsible for helping to establish Akvo in Indonesia, acting as a liaison with local partners, consulting on local engagement and supporting training workshops in the region. Prior to joining Akvo, Aulia spent nearly eight years working in communications for WWF-Indonesia. Aulia began his career in journalism and has held positions as a reporter and radio announcer. He studied communications at Airlangga University, where he has since acted as part-time lecturer for the Department of Communications Studies.

Nikki is a project officer for Akvo in the South East Asia & Pacific Hub. In this role she trains and supports partners in the use of Akvo’s tools, and the designing of their surveys for decision support. She is also helping build and maintain partnerships in Australia and the Pacific.

Prior to joining Akvo, Nikki worked as tutor and demonstrator at the Australian National University focusing on courses in sustainable development and Geographical Information Systems. She has published academic papers on mapping of fear of crime and its impact upon behaviour, and the role of base maps upon the recording of spatial data.

Nikki has a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Sustainability) from the Australian National University, Canberra and completed the Fenner School of Environment & Society Honours Program in 2015. In her spare time she enjoys tea, comic books and Australian Football. Follow her @nikjsloan.

Ima is a project manager for Akvo in SEAP and is responsible for helping manage Akvo’s role in the OXFAM “Empower Youth for Work” programme. In this role, she coordinates Akvo’s services for our partners within the programme, both for data collection and communication.

Prior to joining Akvo, Ima worked as a database and networking coordinator at an Indonesian-based NGO focusing on youth empowerment and education using participatory media approaches. During her career, she has also worked for various organisations in roles spanning media production, human resources training and counseling and film/video facilitation. Ima studied broadcast journalism at Atma Jaya University Indonesia and has a master’s degree in Media Studies from Gadjah Mada University. She is based in Jakarta. Follow her @siapaIma

Cica Sumiasih is the office manager for Akvo’s office in Indonesia. In this role, she is responsible for office administration, facilities management and supporting the local team. Prior to joining Akvo, Cica worked for more than a decade at WWF, where she was an office manager, administration officer and finance officer.
