Health Child

Health Child is a local organization committed to promoting the health of children through reduction of child morbidity and mortality. Health Child presently works in selected areas in Jinja District (Kakira, Budondo, Masese- Walukuba and Mafubira sub-counties and Kisima islands) and is extending coverage to other areas such as Wakiso [Kachanga Kavenyanja islands] and Mpigi [Gomba, Kyegonza Sub County] as her capacity grows.

Our mission is create a safe and secure healthy environment for young children and young care givers at the household and community level so that children—both girls and boys can experience a safe and fruitful childhood; and that they will grow to become responsible and productive adult persons in their communities.
