Description
The Nyanje Basic School was founded in 1953 by the Mission of the Reformed Church in Zambia.
The Nyanje Day Secondary School was founded on the first of January 2001. It is a grand aided, core education Senior Secondary School.
The Nyanje Day Secondary school and the Nyanje Basic school are situated in the Eastern Province, 20 km dirt road from the Great East road, which connects the Capital Lusaka (500 km from Nyanje) with Chipata (150 km from Nyanje). Nyanje is a village near the border of Mozambique.
Goals:
To equip the pupils of the school with the knowledge of God’s Salvation through Christ as well as academic life and survival skills for excellence and productive contribution to community and national development.
Access to quality education and to provide an adequate teaching and learning environment.
