Description
Mpelembe Secondary School was founded in 1983 by Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) and officially opened by Kenneth Kaunda. Located 6km from Kitwe, the school has become one of Zambia's leading centres for secondary education with 500 Grade 8-12 pupils and 50 teachers. Many of the Grade 12 pupils enter the University of Zambia and nearly all sixth form students proceed to further education.
In addition to excellent educational facilities, we also provide a wide range of extra-curricular and sporting activities, and have a computer lab with 32 computers for pupils to use for study.
