Description
The Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights (ARHR) is a Ghanaian registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that was established by a network of NGOs to promote rights-based approaches to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in Ghana through advocacy, capacity building and research.
ARHR exists to advocate for the reproductive rights of the poor, especially women, young persons and other disadvantaged groups in underserved regions.
ARHR seeks more equitable access to SRH services for the underserved, advocates for increased resources to areas of highest risk and builds capacity of vulnerable populations to understand their health rights and demand appropriate services and information from duty bearers, for themselves.
ARHR seeks to promote social justice, particularly in health-related issues among underserved and socially marginalised communities by addressing social, economic and geographical inequalities in the provision and impact of health services.
