The Presbyterian Church of Ghana in conjunction with the Ghana Education Service (GES) recognises the positive role that education plays in the realisation of the spiritual, physical and economic potentials of the individual in society. The church focuses its education on the development of the head, heart and hands leading the products to have high levels of academic and professional attainment as well as a high sense of moral and ethical life.

To realise the objectives of the church with regards to education and in conformity with the Ghana Educational Service general policy of making quality education accessible to all and to ensure efficient monitoring and supervision opened the Presby Educational Units in Tamale and Bolgatanga respectively who have the management responsibility of all the Presbyterian educational institutions in the Northern and Upper Presbyteries.
