The project successfully established sweet potatoes ICT center and so far 300 farmers have been trained on use various ICT equipment. The project has attracted substantial number of youths into farming. Farmers have also been trained on use of mobile phones for market price inquiry. This service cost farmer Kshs.1 per SMS and is being provided by MFARM limited. Using this service, farmers don't have to rely on market price information from buyers which is inaccurate, untimely and irregular.
