Emmanuel is programme manager in West Africa where he helps Akvo’s partners with business development and programme implementation. His focal point is agricultural projects within the Bamako team.
Prior to joining Akvo, Emmanuel worked as a programme manager at Plan International Mali for the Plan Canadian National Office and as a regional fundraising officer for ICCO Cooperation West Africa. Emmanuel also has experience in monitoring and evaluation, both in community microfinance at Stromme Foundation West Africa and in education and literacy at World Vision Mali. Emmanuel has a diplôme de maitrise (master’s degree) in Sociology and Anthropology and an MSc in Planning and Strategic Management of Development. Modibo Traore is a technical account manager for the Akvo West Africa team. Based in Bamako, he provides partners with technical support for Akvo tools and collaborates with partners so that they can get the most out of their data.
He joined Akvo in July 2017 with several years of experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and data management. Prior to joining Akvo, Modibo worked for the Education Development Center (EDC) as an M&E specialist and database manager. He has worked mainly in education, youth entrepreneurship and humanitarian aid. He holds an engineering diploma in Statistics and Information Analysis from the Tunis School of Statistics in Tunisia.
