SNV is an international NGO active in 38 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It works with local communities, businesses and organisations in the fields of agriculture, renewable energy, and water, sanitation & hygiene. 

SNV is a global strategic partner of Akvo. We are working together closely in several countries and programmes in the fields of water and sanitation. SNV uses Akvo Flow in its Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All (SSH4A) programme in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nepal, Mozambique, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. SSH4A is supported by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) and several other national governments. SNV is currently piloting Flow in two municipalities in Burkina Faso, and in Mali it’s using Flow in partnership with UNICEF within UNICEF’s West and Central Africa programme which is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS). SNV is also introducing Flow for data collection in sanitation and hygiene programmes in Nepal, Bhutan, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos. SNV is also lead funding partner of Akvo Caddisfly
