Dagmar’s role is to help partners in South East Asia and Pacific scale the use of Akvo FLOW and RSR to achieve better results in the field, and improve the tools based on the needs of partners. She brings to Akvo considerable experience with international development issues, geography and local government.
Before joining Akvo, Dagmar worked for VNG International where she developed and managed programmes for capacity development in local government. She holds a Master’s in International Development Studies and a Bachelor’s in Human Geography from the University of Utrecht, as well as a post-master in International Development Studies from the University of Nijmegen.
Dagmar is based in Akvo’s South East Asia and Pacific hub and has worked extensively in Mali, Benin, Tanzania and Guatemala. She speaks Dutch, English, French and Spanish. You can find her on twitter @VerbeekDagmar.
