Ilyasse Kabore is a technical account manager for the Akvo West Africa team. He is responsible for technically assisting partners who use Akvo’s tools. He brings several years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Information and Community Technology for Development (ICT4D).
Prior to joining Akvo, Ilyasse worked with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as the monitoring and evaluation, accountability and learning officer in the fields of agriculture, health, nutrition, WASH and local governance. Ilyasse also has experience as a GIS specialist and monitoring and evaluation manager with the American NGO Winrock International. His work at Winrock International was mainly in the context of the USAID West Africa WASH programme for Burkina Faso, Niger and Ghana. Ilyasse hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography and a master’s degree in Geomatics from the University of Ouagadougou, where he is based. You can follow him on Twitter @KABOREIlyasse.
